Meet David Stanley

David is a native Vermonter, and time spent in the outdoors of Southern Vermont as a youth sparked a passion for rural living and wild places. He has resided in Burlington’s Old North End for ten years. He moved back to Vermont after pursuing an education in design in Colorado and graduated from the University of Vermont in 2018.

David is active in his community. He loves the people and places that shape the Old North End. On a given day you can find him connecting with neighbors at the dog park, grabbing a new coffee roast at Brio, or swimming with his daughter at the YMCA.

I take a thoughtful, relationship-first approach to real estate. Instead of pushing quick decisions, I focus on education, clear communication, and helping clients understand the full picture so they can move forward with confidence. As a local Vermonter who lives and works in these communities, I care deeply about the long-term success of my clients and the health of the neighborhoods we call home.

Yes. First-time buyers make up a large part of my practice, and I take pride in guiding people through the process step by step. From understanding financing and Vermont-specific programs to navigating inspections, negotiations, and closing, my goal is to make buying your first home feel clear, manageable, and well supported from start to finish. I hold home buying seminars a few times a year which is a great way to explore purchasing your first home in a no-pressure environment.

Yes. Ridgeline Real Estate offers a collaborative, full-service approach that combines strong local market knowledge with thoughtful, professional marketing. When you list with me, you benefit not only from my hands-on guidance and pricing strategy, but also from a team that takes your goals seriously, communicates clearly, and works hard to position your home for a successful sale in today’s Vermont market.

I offer full-service listing representation built around strategy, presentation, and communication. That includes pricing guidance, preparation and staging advice, professional photography and video, targeted marketing, open houses, and hands-on negotiation, all with the goal of presenting your home thoughtfully and guiding you through a smooth, well-informed sale.

Every listing starts with a thoughtful strategy tailored to the home and the market. That includes professional photography, drone footage where appropriate, and walkthrough videos that give buyers a realistic sense of the space, along with clear staging guidance and well-run open houses. I pair that with targeted digital marketing and strong agent-to-agent outreach to make sure your home is presented with care, reaches the right audience, and stands out for the right reasons.

Yes. I provide clear, practical guidance on how to prepare your home so it shows at its best, whether that means light staging, decluttering, small repairs, or knowing what not to spend money on. The goal is to highlight the home’s strengths, respect your time and budget, and help buyers see themselves living there.

Yes. Coordinating a sale and purchase at the same time is one of the most common and complex situations I help clients navigate. I work closely with you to line up timing, financing, and contingencies so the transition feels intentional rather than rushed, helping you move from one home to the next with clarity and confidence.

Your home’s value depends on location, condition, recent comparable sales, and current buyer demand. I provide a thoughtful, free market analysis for a no-obligation understanding of your home’s value, grounded in local data and what I’m seeing on the ground, so you can make an informed decision about next steps.
